from lourdes

I am Dr. Lourdes, an ELL/Hispanic Academic Achievement and Parental Involvement specialist.  My experience as a motivational public speaker, consultant, and staff developer can help your school meet the challenges of NCLB Act.

My  expertise is in teaching and counseling in a culturally responsive way, increasing English Language comprehensibility, creating a school culture conducive to academic success, improving student performance on State tests, and increasing parental involvement.

I create custom seminars for teachers, school administrators and families.  The seminars are based upon quantitative data with the school system and qualitative research. I do this to ensure that each seminar meets the needs of the school population and the specific school or district. My seminars and workshops are presented to groups of students, parents, or school teachers and administrators.

I have made the presentation slides of some of my seminars available. You are welcome to download them and use them in a non-profit educational setting. Please email me for permission.
